Content Management

What is Content Management?

Content management is a defined and structured method for creating, editing, and updating website content.
Usually a content management system (CMS) is a portal like system where
almost every aspect of the website and design are setup using the
content management system.

Why Use Content Management?

The main reasons to use a CMS are
speed and simplicity. Most site managers don’t have the time to learn
either HTML or a coding language to create a dynamic or even static
website. Using a CMS most of the hurdles are easily overcome. Once the
inital CMS is setup correctly, all website maintenance tasks become
simple and routine.

Wow, great blog. I love reading blogs about CMS! I have been working with CMS programs for eight years myself. There are so many great options for us in the open source community.
